Elements of Torment

Tormenting. Torture, suffering, breath restriction, predicament, challenge.

These are some of the themes we will delve into during this workshop, where the presenter will share some of his sadistic tools and techniques with you.

In this workshop, we will explore various approaches to torment. From pure pain using judiciously placed jute or coconut ropes, going through some predicaments involving bamboo on the body and finally exploring slow breath restriction. To culminate, we will combine all these elements, creating an intense experience.

However, torment is not just about inflicting pain; it’s also about the profound connection and trust between partners. This workshop will explore how these intense experiences can deepen the bond and create an intense emotional connection.

Prerequisites for the participants:
Intermediate level. Single column tie, 2 ropes TK suitable for floor play, minimum 6 standard length ropes. The person being tied must be able to withstand a certain level of pain and be comfortable with some breath restriction.

Cost is 120 euros per couple.

About the presenters:

~Ropelash (he/him) is a rigger based in Lausanne, Switzerland. He started his rope journey in 2017, learning from a variety of teachers across Europe who have helped him develop his
personal style and approach to ropes. Ropelash is a kind and cuddly sadist, always eager to explore new kinks. With ropes, he is always seeking that special connection that creates a timeless bubble for him and his partner. Whether he is being playful, sadistic, or sensual, he is often drawn to semenawa and aibunawa.
In 2020, ropelash began facilitating workshops in Berlin, Köln, Geneva, and Lausanne. He now offers beginner and intermediate rope classes, along with private sessions.

~Dis.cordes (she/her) has been exploring Shibari for the past two years, mainly as a model and also as a rigger. She enjoys the power exchange in ropes, and the unique relationship with each rigger. Shibari has led her to enjoy the play between struggle and surrender, pain and pleasure, freedom and restrictions. It also brought her to her amazing AthenShibari community. She travels regularly and is lucky to be able to develop beautiful rope partnerships outside of Greece, including Ropelash in Lausanne.
