Dear shibari friends,
we are happy to invite you to a donation-based class focused on the most popular shibari ties with the hands behind the back, the Takate Kote (TK) and Strappado.
While these ties are the most iconic, they also carry more risks when practiced without the necessary knowledge and care.
This class will explore the details that make these ties safer, more sustainable, and adaptable for different body types.
We’ll explore ways to level up your technique, and give tips for both the person who ties and for the person being tied. You’ll also learn how to spot warning signs and make necessary adjustments, ensuring that the experience is pleasurable and safe for both participants.
The class is open to people who already have a basic understanding of these ties.
You’re welcome to attend together with a partner or solo! Single participants can either partner up to switch or simply observe and learn.
Thank you for joining us! Together, we’re making this space accessible to more people while fostering a community built on shared learning, safety, and inclusivity.
