Rope Jam + Predicament Challenge

Dear Shibari Friends,

We are thrilled to invite you to a special edition of our Rope Jam, organized by AthenShibari, focused on the painful and challenging aspects of rope play! This jam will explore predicaments, where struggle and movement become part of the experience.

Whether you're new or experienced in rope, join us at 6:30 PM in our new space and, if you're feeling brave, take part in our Predicament Challenge!

Predicament Challenge – Special Offer
At 7:00 PM, we invite you to test your endurance, creativity, and playful struggle in a 30-minute predicament challenge.
Participants who take on the challenge will enjoy a reduced entrance fee of 5€ per person (instead of the usual 10€).

What to expect?
Predicament ties will focus on movement, choices, and endurance—not fully static semenawa.
No suspensions—only floorwork and partial suspensions.
Struggle is encouraged, making active modeling an essential part of the experience.
Spotters will be present to monitor the challenges and may intervene if necessary to ensure safety.

Whether you wish to tie, be tied, watch, or simply socialize, you're welcome to join this unique evening of creative torment and delightful suffering.

What is a Rope Jam?
A Rope Jam is an open practice and rope play session for all riggers, rope bottoms, rope switches, and self-tiers.

Bring your ropes, your curiosity, your partners and friends, and even some snacks or drinks! You will have the chance to explore rope in a safe and relaxed environment, connect with other rope enthusiasts, and, of course, meet our team.

At this event, there is no teaching—it’s a time to play and explore!

Never tried rope before? You’re still welcome to join us, watch, and chat with others! If you’d like to learn, we invite you to attend one of our open classes or contact us for more information.

Dress Code
Comfortable clothing is recommended for tying and moving on the floor.
Fetish outfits are welcome if they inspire your experience!
Topless is allowed for all genders in the studio area, but full nudity is not permitted.

AthenShibari - General Rules for Rope Jams
Must be 18+ to attend.
Respect and consent are key. Don’t touch people or their equipment without permission.
Keep the space clean and respectful for everyone.
Volume control: Keep noise levels appropriate while tying and socializing.
Rope Jams are bondage-oriented social events, not BDSM play parties. Some BDSM elements (light impact play, wax play, etc.) are allowed, but explicit sexual acts and excessive body fluids should be avoided.
Practice safe and consensual bondage—always keep safety shears nearby.
Food & drinks: Bring your own (non-alcoholic) drinks & snacks, but keep them outside the rope area.

Join us for an evening of tension, torment, and twisted fun!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
